Cinque Terre

The Cinque Terre or 'five villages' are amongst the most well-known landmarks in Liguria. Literally, five very pretty neighboring villages that run  across the rugged coastline of southern Liguria. The villages -    Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore - and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
