

The Villa
Affordable luxury in the heart of the Italian Riviera. A two storey house in the foothills of the Maritime Alps, overlooking the pretty Italian town of Bordighera. Just a 15 minute drive from the borders of the South of France, and the pretty town of Menton; and only a 40 minute drive from the airport at Nice, Villetta Bianca is ideally situated for the independent holidaymaker.
The ground floor has a fully equipped open plan kitchen and diner, with dishwasher, fan oven and microwave.A utility room contains a washing machine along with handy access to a ground floor bathroom, complete with power shower, sink, toilet and bidet. A small living room is equipped with comfortable sofas, lots of books and a TV with English satellite channels.
An outside staircase connects the ground floor to the first floor bedrooms. Here you will find one double bedroom and one twin room, both generously sized with wardrobes and drawers; one room with air conditioning, the other with a fan. A second fully fitted bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom.

The main bedroom is double aspect, with a shuttered window looking out towards the mediterranean, and doors leading to an upper terrace that is shared with the second bedroom and overlooking the valley - a perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon read or a nightcap under the stars.
Beds are extravagantly clad in 500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for a comfortable night's sleep. Bath and beach towels are both provided, and extra blankets and mosquito nets are available if required.
The house is surrounded by terraces; those nearest the house are tiled for sunbathing, open plan living, eating and cooking; and an acre of fruit and olive trees hug the wider area around the house.
The summer kitchen is the perfect spot for an alfresco lunch or dinner, as it is fully equipped with barbecue, wood fired pizza oven, marble topped work units and sink. By late summer the whole area is shaded by vines heavily laden with grapes. Is your gin and tonic missing a little something? Why not reach out and pluck a lemon from the tree next to the patio table and chairs.
Need to cool off? Try out the state of the art jacuzzi hot tub on the new lower terrace. The secluded hot tub seats five people and has wonderful views across the valley and out to the mediterranean. And no need to stop partying when the sun sets. Switch on the terrace lights and settle in - the hot tub is heated and even has its own underwater disco lights, radio and an MP3 connection for your musical pleasure. Bring your mp3 player or memory stick - plug in and enjoy.
